Josephine is the name of the Zombie Road Mustang, as chosen by the fan club. The car is featured in the second and third books and this is the Mustang I built as closely as I could to represent the one in the books.

It started out as a non-running 1971 Mach 1 drug out of a field in Tennessee. The body was pretty much shot, I even had to weld the frame back together where it had been sitting in the mud for decades. After three motors (yeah, I drive  it like I stole it) it now has a strong running 351 Cleveland, factory 4 speed and a set of lower gears in the 9 inch rear to smoke those over sized tires. 

The lift kit was homemade and fairly simple although it doesn't handle very well at anything over 70 mph.
